I teach massage therapists how to make the money they deserve! I'm Brionna Brouhard, MBA LMT and owner of Chillax PDX. I got tired of hearing about my colleagues getting frustrated at being overworked and underpaid as employees, not really understanding how to be self-employed, dabbling a little but not really being successful as a self-employed practitioner, fearful of taking the leap into self-employment, and all the other excuses while getting burnt-out and often injured while working for someone doing massage, and for NO MONEY! So I said to myself, hold on. I've been self-employed for most of my massage career, I'm making really good money, I'll teach my colleagues how! Thus, The Massage Therapist's MBA was born. I've been owner-operating Chillax PDX as a massage therapy business in the Portland metro area for 14+ years, and most of that time as a self-employed massage therapist solo practitioner. In 2015, I earned my MBA degree from Marylhurst University. Combining my education and experience, now I teach massage therapists how to succeed in business, as leaders and as self-employed professionals.
